pek bilinmeyen, maalesef reklami iyi yapilamamis, dvd'si dahi bulunamayan, ortamlara hic dusememis efsane filmdir. gina ablamizin joan jett gibi butch bir rocker'i oynadigi, kadin gruplarindan ve ozellikle 80'lere ait rock muzikten hoslanan insanlarin izlemesini tavsiye ederim.

not: ortamlarda bu filmi bulanlar beni yesillendirebilirse cok acayip sevinirim.

gina gershon, lori petty , shelly cole ve drea de matteonun oynadigi 2003 yapimi bir alex stayermark filmi. cheri lovedogun gercek yasamindan kesitler barindiran bu filmde bayanlarimiz tümü kadin olan bir los angeles punk rock grubunun üyeleridirler. faith^* erkek egemenliginin cirit atma durumunda oldugu müzik piyasasinda 20 senedir var olup da hala bir hit cikaramis durumdadir, hala rock n roll be adamim edasiyla bol renkli saclar, bol distortionli gitarlarlar ve bol dövmeler esliginde bir hayat seyir eylemektedir. film, boyle bir zamanda disi olmanin zorluklarini hafif esprili, biraz aci, zaman zaman rahatsiz edici bir sekilde suratimizda patlatirken muzikleriyle derdimize derman oluyor. evet evet gina gershon sarki soyleyebiliyor. cheri lovedog yaziyor o soyluyor. hatta bir parcada linda perry den yardim aliyor da koskoca bir soundtrack bilem cikartiyor.

rock'n'roll yasam tarzini kadinlarin bakis acisindan anlatan guzel bir bagimsiz film. gina gershon gayet iyi bir rock forent woman olmus , gercek yasaminda rocker olan drea de matteo'nun basci olarak ne kadar inandirici oldugunu soylemeye bile gerek yok.
cheri lovedog'un sarki sozleri ise erkek egemen rock'n'roll dunyasinda rahatlatici bir soluk. ozellikle tecavuz temali "every six minutes" in sozleri cok etkileyici:
