bana izlerken bir yandan jason becker: not dead yet'i düşündüren, roger ebert'in hayatını konu alan belgesel. onun film eleştirisine olan bakış açısı, hem anlatıcılar hem de tv programındaki tartışmalar üzerinden tertemiz bir şekilde izleyiciye sunulmuş. gene siskel ile olan sürtüşmeli ilişkisi insanı gülümsetirken, siskel'in hayatını kaybetmesi üzerine verdiği tepki ile birden gözlerinizin dolmasına sebep oluyor.
esas dikkat çekici nokta, ebert'in acı çekerken bile gözlerinde yer alan parıltıydı ki kaynağını chaz ebert'ten alıyordu haliyle. chaz ile tanışmadan önceki halleri ile sonraki arasındaki fark o kadar belliydi ki imrenmemek elde değildi.
lafı uzatmayalım. 2 saat içerisinde insanı duygudan duyguya koşturan, eleştirmenlerin yönetmenler üzerindeki etkisini birinci elden izleyebileceğiniz bir belgesel olmuş.
bir de ölürken dinlenecek şarkı başlığına da çok güzel bir cevap vermiş bu belgesel. söylemeden geçmeyelim.

glass animals'ın yeni albümleri how to be a human being'den ilk şarkı. zaba'dan biraz daha farklı ama muhtemelen daha keyifli bir albüm olacak gibi duruyor şimdilik, şahsen ben bayıldım!
