vasatın altında bir dizi.

friends bittiğinde prodüktörleri joey karakteriyle devam ederek frasier'ın yaptığı gibi bir başarı elde edilebileceği düşüncesiyle joey tribbiani'ni nin hayatını anlatacak bir dizi çekerek başarı kovalamayı düşünmüşlerdi.

fakat istenilene ulaşılamadığı gibi jeoy karakterinin de tarihin sayfalarına gömülmesini sağladılar desek yeridir.

bunun belli başlı bir iki nedeni var:

1- friends amerika'da genellikle yaşanmayan veya yaşanması çok zor ütopik bir arkadaş grubu ve yakınlığıo anlatıyordu. bunu 10 yıl gibi bir sürede herkesin beynine yazmış ve herkesi bu arkadaşlığın hayat boyu süreceğine ikna etmişti. böyle bir arkadaşlığın new york hastası olan knicks için ölebilecek bir karakterin ny'i ve en samimi arkadaşlarını telefonla bile aramayacak seviyede, ismini bile anmayacak sşekilde terk etmesini seyirci en kaba anlatımıyla yemedi. joey gibi garip insanlar klübü olan friendsin en halktan ve en bağlayıcı nitelikteki karakterinin bu kadar kendini yabancılaştırmasını kelimenin tam anlamıyla herkes yadırgadı.

2- prodüktörler ve yazarlar uzun süre diziyle ne yapacaklarına karar veremediler. dizini konsepti basitti aslında. yeni şehir, yeni arkadaşlar. akraba ilişkileri ve her zamanki gibi potansiyel joey ilişkileri. fakat olmadı olamadı. ana konsepti insanlar pek tutmayınca bir sürü şey denendi. garip ilişkiler, zorlama komedi çabaları. ama hepsi nafileydi joey'nin tek başına komik olmadığını gördük. chandler ayarı bir sidekick gerekiyordu yanına. bir ara howard karakteriyle bunu da denediler. çok garip ve bir o kadar komik bir adamdı bu. beki düzelir diye umutlandığımız nadir anlardandı. fakat bu karakterin üstüne oynamaktansa ikinci sezonun başında nereden çıktığı belli olmayan, zach diye gereksiz bir karakter peydahlandı. joey ile nerdeyse hiç bir ortak noktaları yoktu ve anlamsızlığın dibine vurmuş bir şekilde dibinden ayrılmıyordu. bu karakter howard'ın getirdiği güzel esintiyi de götürdü. dizi artık ağızda garip bir tat bırakmay başladı ki. bu sırada joey'nin artık monogamiye geçişi gibi durumlar, gereksiz komşy aşkları gibi konulara girildi ki dizi buralarda iyice çığırdan çıkmış oldu.

sonuçta ne oldu? yaşandı bitti saygısızca devamı bile çekilmiyor kaygısızca.

sadece 2 sezon yayınlanması yazık olmuş dizidir. ayrıca şimdiye kadar rastladığım en kötü altyazı çevirileri bu diziye aittir. insana izlerken "e yeter beah!" dedirtiyor

şu ana kadar on milyon izleyici civarlarinda seyreden dizi... (sanirim friends hic yirmi milyonun altina düşmemiş) aslinda "eger 18. bölüme kadar 20 milyon kişi izlerse chandler'i getireceğiz" deseler biz birşeyler ayarlardik... yine de, bakindiğim sitelerde gördüğüm kadariyla 12. bölüm önceki 4-5 taneden daha fazla beğenilmiş, hafif bir ilerleme olmasi güzel...

tamam onlardan friends deki karakterler kadar ii olmalarini beklemiyoruz, ve biliyoruz bu dizi joey merkezli bi dizi ama tek basina nereye kadar goturebilir tartisilir, ama sanirim joey in yeni katildigi dizi olayi bolumleri fazlasiyla renklendiricektir, ilk season da joey hrlde anca yerlesicek yeni memleketine, ondan sonra ver elini kahkaha dolu saatler.. ama nerde capkin joey?? nerde how u doin'? ler???

su ana kadar yayinlanmis tum bolumlerini derhal arsivime katmis oldugum, friends i kaybettikten sonra gayet ilac gibi gelen dizidir.

joey tek basina sürüklemektedir ama bunu gayet guzel basarmaktadir.friends e alismis olan bizlerin ilk zamanlarda sikinti cekmesi bence normaldir. ama bu sikintilar dizinin kalitesini ve matt leblanc in her zamanki yuksek performansini golgelememektedir.

hatta ilerideki sezonlarda chandler monica dan bosansa da joey ile yine roomie olsalar tadindan yenmeyecektir. aslinda gonul isterki monica ile chan chan man joey e komsu gelseler hatta phoebe ile kocasi da yan daireye gecseler ve hatta hatta rachel ile ross da asagi sokaga tasinsalar. bir de yakinlara bir yere gunther cafe acsa... ama herhalde o kadar da olmaz... keske...

kim ne derse desin asla friends'den bağımsız değerlendirmenin, en azından acımız hala bu kadar büyükken, mümkün olmadığı dizi. ilk 16 bölümde, bilhassa ilk12'sinde joey'nin los angeles'a yerleşmesi ve sudan çıkmış balığa dönmüşmüş olması dışında herhangi bir gelişme görmememiz, yani herhangi bir senaryo ilerlemesi, olay gelişimi izleyememiş olmamız ise dizinin zayıf yanlarından. esprilerin çoğunun joey'nin beyinsiz davranması üzerine yapılması ise diğer bir zayıf yan ki friends'de bile zaman zaman joey'nin zeka seviyesini 0'lara indiren espriler kabak tadı verebiliyordu.^*. biraz salak olmak komik olabilirken, yaşamını yalnız başına devam ettiremeyecek derecede moron bir insan portresi çizmek bence ucuza kaçmak oluyor. bunun dışında yan karakterlerden gina bence çok insanın kanının kaynayabileceği türden değil, hatta şahsi fikrimce itici. yan komşu alex ise evli olmasıyla muhtemel bir aşk ilişkisi olma olasılığına da sahip olmadığından (gerçi buna bir açık kapı bırakılmış gibi, zira kocasının sürekli uzakta olmasının garipliğinden bahsedilen bir diyaloğa geçenlerde rastladım) bence gereksiz kaçıyor ve hiç bir özelliği yok.

friends sonrası insanları mutlu etmek zaten zor olacakken bir de çok basit bazı noktalara daha fazla özen gösterilmemiş olmaması yazık. dizi ilk bölümlere göre düzelme yolunda ama nereye varır bilemiyorum. joey ise aslında friends ortamından çıkınca çok da derinliğe sahip olmayan bir karakter olduğundan (örneğin bir chandler değil) üzerine bir dizi oturtmak zaten zor bir iş. sonuç olarak bağımsız olarak vasatın üzerinde bir dizi olsa da, başka bir açıdan da söz konusu karakter joey olmasa bu diziyi kaç kişi izlerdi tartışma konusu. en azından friends'in yokuluğuna alışmak için bir ilaç oldu diyerek sözlerimize son verebiliriz.

cnbc-e'de bugun yayinlanan bolumunde joey'i sadece friends yadigari oldugu icin izleyenleri sevindiren 2 cumle vardi. joey hayatinda yalnizca bir kadina onu sevdigini soyledigini ama o kadinin (rachel green, jennifer aniston) joey'nin yakin arkadasindan (ross geller, david schwimmer) hamile oldugunu ve kendisini reddettigini anlatti. gina da 'evet seni fena benzetmisti' dedi, oysa ki o bolumde rachella joey gittikleri restoranda yemek dahi ismarlamadan saatlerce sarilmislardi da garsonlari birinin kanser oldugunu soyledigini sanmisti. ah friends ah

friends severlere buyuk kelek atmis dizidir. zira michael'in babasi olarak cikan adam joey'nin cocukluk arkadasi olarak tanitildi. halbuki ayni aktor joey evden tasindiginda chandler'in yanina tasinan kacigi oynamisti friends'de, hem de birkac bolumde birden vardi. ayip olmadi mi simdi sorarim size?
