1965 çıkışlı, büyüleyici bir tony bennett albümü. kesinlikle tony bennett'in en iyi albümlerinden biri. hatta bana göre bir numaraya oldukça yakın.

antonio carlos jobim ve gene lees'e ait, asıl adı samba do avião olan, song for the jet set adında pek bilinmeyen bir parçayla başlıyor. rio de janerio'nun uçaktan görünen silüetini anlatan bir şarkı. albüm zaten bossa nova kokan bir albüm olmuş ve saf bir bossa nova örneği olan samba do avião'yu çok iyi yorumlamış tony bennett.

sönük kalan bir şarkı yok diyebilirim. if i ruled the world, özellikle sözleriyle öne çıkan albümün en iyi performanslarından biri.

ve son olarak, bana kalırsa albümün en etkileyici şarkısı, kesinlikle fly me to the moon. şarkının aslından bile daha iyi bir yorum olmuş diyebilirim. piyano girişi, sonradan şarkının başına eklenen sözler... kesinlikle albümün ve genel anlamda tony bennett'in en iyi şarkılarından biri.

swing, vocal jazz gibi türlerden hoşlanıyorsanız kaçırmamanız gereken bir albüm.
